The ELENOR is Steinbock’s adaptation of the most popular car coat from the former company Schneiders Salzburg that closed its doors after 75 years. After closing, Steinbock, a family-owned and family-run apparel company for almost a century, recruited many of Schneiders’ designers and craftsmen to continue the excellence of Schneiders’ designs and add to Steinbock’s new Maximilian line of quality Tyrolean apparel.  Steinbock is located just outside of Innsbruck, Austria and prides itself on combining exceptional craftsmanship and natural fabrics to create apparel pieces that have lasting durability and timeless style. The Elenor’s luxury wool blend of 70% Wool/20% Polyamide/10% Cashmere – creates a Modern Velour that offers a softer look and feel than standard loden wool. Wool is naturally breathable, water-repellant, and stain-resistant and its properties are further enhanced by adding Polyamide to the fabric, which helps retain the shape by increasing the elasticity of the wool and also offering more water resistance. The high, stand-up collar provides wind protection, warmth, and elegance, and can be worn up or folded down.
